Mickael Chatelain – The Lane
A card is selected by a spectator. The same card is signed on its face and returned to the deck. The deck is immediately given to the spectator who is asked to inspect it and cover the deck with their hands afterwards. You show a board covered with stickers. Peel off one of them and apply it to the center of the Bicycle card case. (In fact you paste in the middle of the sign "Spades" which adorns the front of the case). All this is done in broad daylight under the very noses of the spectators, then you rub the case with your fingertips with the sticker pasted on the case. You rub, rub again and then you remove your fingers. Unbelievable! The sticker has vanished! Your fingers and hands are shown empty with no trace of the sticker. Where did it go? The deck has been in plain sight and under lock and key of the public audience all this time. Get the deck, passing one card at a time into your other hand. Suddenly there appears a card with a sticker on its back. You pull the card with the sticker and whether you believe it or not, the card chosen bears the signature of the spectator! Amazing!
